Dr. James W. Bollmeier graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000 and has dedicated his career to caring for animals and supporting the people who love them. After years serving families throughout Illinois, he’s proud to bring his experience to Missouri with WagMore Animal Hospital—his newest and largest clinic to date.
If the dogs could talk, they’d all ask for Lori by name. With 10+ years of hands-on animal care experience, she brings unmatched passion, organization, and heart to WagMore’s boarding and day play programs. Her sixth-sense “dog whisperer” skills and keen understanding of body language help every pet feel safe, loved, and understood.
When she’s not at the clinic, you’ll find her hiking trails, chasing waterfalls, stargazing, or getting lost in a good book—with one of her five furry companions close by.
Laura has been a dedicated veterinary technician for more than 20 years, turning a lifelong love for animals into a career built on skill, patience, and gentle care. After completing veterinary assistant school in 2005, she earned her associate’s degree in veterinary science in 2007—and she’s been helping pets thrive ever since.
When she’s not caring for patients, Laura is all about family time with her kids and their furry crew: Huck the dog and Lion the cat.
With two decades of vet tech superpowers, Amber is the calm-in-the-chaos leader who keeps everything running smoothly—from supporting medical care to helping nervous pets (and their humans) feel at ease. She’s equal parts compassion, expertise, and steady energy.
Outside the clinic, Amber loves hiking, camping, and spending time in nature with her own pets. Her goal is simple: make a positive difference for animals and the families who love them.
Meet Goose and Maverick—our official WagMore Welcoming Committee. They’re here to make you smile, brighten the lobby vibe, and remind everyone that this place is built with love for all animals.
